Founded in 1934, the IRWA is a not-for-profit association which encourages professional advancement for right-of-way professionals via education, forums, seminars, and professional association.

IRWA Region 7 connects, educates, and serves right-of-way professionals from Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.

The Municipal Research & Services Center (MRSC) is a non-profit, independent organization created in 1969 to continue programs established in 1934 under the Bureau of Governmental Research at the University of Washington. Our mission is "working together for excellence in local government through professional consultation, research and information services." A good resource for information about municipalities in the State of Washington.
